Long story short Cassie’s previous bike (2009 Honda CRF230m) could not keep up with me. Passing anyone was painful 40-50mph and impossible after 55mph.

She needed something heavier and much faster. After looking at the Honda CB500f she wasn’t a fan of looks so we went over to CNY Powersports in Cortland and she got a look at the new 2015 Yamaha fz-07 and fz-09. After reading reviews on both bikes and comparing the little things about the bike she decided on the graphite blue fz-07.

We ended up getting it at Glider City in Elmira. Picked it up about 2 days before we headed to South Carolina.

Surprised Cassie by keeping the uhaul and taking her bike to SC so she could get some riding in.
SC doesn’t nearly have as good of roads like NY has but it was fun zipping around for 4 days.
